Proudly part of the Pham–Chu family, Indochine was established by brother and sister and has been owned and operated in Box Hill since 1991. Today, Philippe and his extended family continue the tradition, bringing a menu inspired by their Hanoi Vietnamese heritage and a genuine love of hospitality.

In 2024, the family expanded with the opening of Banh Me Please, and they proudly employ local and international students from Deakin University and Box Hill Institute, supporting the next generation while staying deeply connected to the community.
