Step 1 - Prepare

Before you sign a lease or apply for any business permits, make sure you're prepared. It can save you time, money, and stress later on.

Do you have a business plan?

You’ll need to explain what products or services your business will offer, where it will be located, how many people you plan to hire, and roughly how many customers you expect each day. It’s also important to include a plan for what you need right now, as well as what you’ll need in the future. This information will help decide which permits and registrations are required.
