A taste of Italy, close to home.

Growing up in a family of business owners, Enza developed a love of good food and hospitality from an early age. Her journey later took her to Italy, where she lived for more than 4 years and even owned a cheese shop in Milan. It was there that she deepened her connection to her Italian heritage and discovered new inspiration.

When it came time to open her own café in Australia, Enza wanted a name that reflected those memories. The name Spizzico was chosen, borrowed from a favourite local business in Milan.

After 18 years in Burwood Heights, Spizzico has become much more than a café and deli. For Enza, the greatest reward has been watching the local community grow alongside her business.

"It's the people," she says. "I love getting to know them and seeing families grow."

Whether she's preparing handmade lasagna, freshly made panini or other traditional Italian favourites, Enza's passion remains the same as it was when she first opened her doors in 2008,  to create delicious food and make people feel welcome.
